Iconic outdoor footwear manufacturer Asolo is making a major upgrade to the company’s wholesale merchandising and purchasing interface with their retail partners with the rollout of Emerald Holding’s Elastic Suite next-generation B2B ecommerce platform. Retailers will soon be able to virtually access the brand’s product line in Emerald’s digital market via Elastic as Asolo seeks to provide a more strategic, streamlined and sustainable wholesale purchasing process.

According to Lockwood, priorities for the rollout include better preseason planning by sales reps, more streamlined access to inventory information, enhanced digital merchandising capability and improving product support for retailers. Asolo intends to eliminate printed B2B sales materials with Elastic’s custom digital catalog builder, adding a strong sustainability component to the initiative. Elastic is being fully integrated with the company’s NetSuite ERP platform which also brings new levels of business process and back-office efficiency. All Asolo products will be on the platform and regions covered by the deployment include the company’s markets in the United States and Canada.
